Byron was brought to Sandy's Sanctuary in September 2019. He lived happily there with the other kittens for some time, but then he became unwell with cat flu type symptoms and he struggled to regain his health. Byron has now been in foster care for some months and has blossomed into a beautiful, soft-coated boy with gorgeous golden eyes.
Byron is extremely affectionate and playful - he is currently in foster with a litter of mischievous kittens where he has earned the title "Uncle Byron" as he likes to keep an eye on them, give them washes and cuddles and occasionally tell them off too!
You may note that Byron has his mouth open in many of his pictures. He tends to breathe through his mouth as the illness when he was a kitten meant his airways were restricted. His lungs and chest are completely clear and he is in good health, but the habit of breathing through his mouth remains :-)
Byron is not overly keen on other adult cats though he would make a fine companion with a kitten. He would best suit being an indoor cat.
